Luke Jacobsen, D.D.S., AACD, IABDM

Dr. Luke Jacobsen was born and raised in Boise, ID, where he spent many hours focusing on studies, varsity sports, and playing the violin. As a presidential scholarship awardee, he attended California Lutheran University, where he earned his BS in Biology with an emphasis in pre-medicine. He continued with his dental education at the University Of Southern California School Of Dentistry, recognized as one of the top cosmetic and dental schools in the nation.

Dr. Jacobsen most enjoys the personal interaction with each patient, discussing their wants and needs, educating the patient and delivering the highest standard of treatment with an ethical approach, providing a pleasant experience with each and every patient. Considering that time is valuable and many people have reservations about visiting the dentist, Dr. Jacobsen has become proficiently trained in CEREC technology, providing streamline patient care for crown and onlay delivery in a single appointment visit for the patient.

Dr. Jacobsen is a member of the American Dental Association, CADS, ISDA, IAOMT, Fotona Study Club, and Seattle Study Club.

The most rewarding aspect for Dr. Jacobsen is watching the transformation of the patient’s attitude and increase in self-esteem when providing a positive experience and exceptional outcome for the patient. Family is a large part of Dr. Jacobsen’s life, so treating each patient as a family member is of utmost importance. Having several years of working for public health and private practice has allowed Dr. Jacobsen to understand the importance of communicating dental education and advocacy for the patient and provide the patient with not only the most esthetic outcome, but also the most functional.

Dr. Jacobsen believes that, “in order to achieve harmonious balance in treatment outcomes, you must engage the patient and become more than their doctor, you must be their confidant and advocate.”

Daniel Travelle, D.D.S.

Dr. Daniel Travelle was born in upstate New York, where he spent his youth enjoying outdoor activities like water skiing, fishing, playing soccer, and ice hockey. He later moved to Arizona, where he completed high school and earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a pre-medical emphasis from Arizona State University. Driven by a passion for healthcare and hands-on patient care, he went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 2007. During his time at USC, Dr. Travelle’s exceptional clinical abilities earned him the honor of serving as one of the team dentists for the USC Trojans from 2005 to 2007.

Dr. Travelle’s philosophy of care is rooted in minimally invasive biomimetic dentistry—an approach that emphasizes conservative treatment and materials that replicate the natural function and aesthetics of teeth. His goal is to preserve as much of the natural tooth structure as possible while delivering lasting, functional, and esthetically pleasing results. A strong advocate for preventive care, Dr. Travelle believes in partnering with patients through education and personalized treatment planning to achieve lifelong oral and whole-body health.

Dr. Travelle has been consistently recognized for his clinical excellence and commitment to continuing education. He was named Top Dentist in Arizona in 2010, Seattle Magazine’s Top Dentist in 2013, and Seattle Met Magazine’s Top Dentist every year from 2017 to 2024 prior to relocating to Idaho. He is licensed in Idaho, Washington, and Arizona, and is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Idaho State Dental Association, Whitewater Oral Surgery Group Study Club, and the South Sound Multidisciplinary Study Club.

Dr. Travelle recently moved to Idaho with his wife, Katie - also a dentist - and their two young sons to embrace a better work-life balance and enjoy the outdoor lifestyle. Family is central to his life, and he treats every patient with the same level of care and respect he would offer his own loved ones.
